The hardfacing gas-shielded welding wire MSG6-60 from Schweisskraft is a high-quality product specifically designed for hardfacing on wear-resistant machine parts made of structural steel or cast steel. With a Vickers hardness of 650 to 775 HV and a Rockwell hardness of 56 to 62 HR, this welding wire offers exceptional toughness and wear resistance. It is ideally suited for applications in the construction industry, particularly for excavator parts, conveyor screws, roller crushers, impact hammers, as well as rollers and running surfaces. The welding wire has a diameter of 1.0 mm and is supplied in a spool with a weight of 15 kg. The use of Argon S 1 - S 3 or mixed gases as shielding gas ensures optimal weld seam quality. The chemical composition of the wire includes, among other elements, 0.5% carbon, 3.0% silicon, and 9.2% chromium, contributing to its excellent properties.
