Minimal material removal from the electrode of only 0.3 mm via built-in setting gauge, allowing up to 200 regrinds instead of just 50 - 100. The electrode does not overheat during the grinding process. Continuously adjustable grinding angle from 15 – 180°. Integrated extraction with P3 dust filter for optimal user protection. Precise guidance of the electrode in a clamping holder for electrode lengths up to 22 mm. Also suitable for grinding short electrodes (up to 15 mm), e.g., for orbital welding systems, required collets available as accessories. Through simple adjustment, three grinding levels of the diamond disc can be utilized, resulting in triple the service life of the disc. Electrodes with metal droplets can also be ground directly, saving time and preventing electrode breakage. Powerful 850-watt motor.

Why grind electrodes? To avoid ignition problems and a wandering arc when DC TIG welding, electrodes should be pointed towards the current flow! In AC TIG welding, a phase must be ground on the electrode from Ø 1.6 mm in the direction of current flow for a narrow arc!
