Product details
The CO sensor, the measuring cell, the evaluation, and the software underwent an extensive full inspection according to DIN EN 50291 at TÜV Süd. Safety and stability have been certified for the system. The development of the professional CO alarm GX-C300 was the logical consequence of this. For a reliable CO warning system over many years, it is important to constantly monitor all relevant operating parameters, partially compensate for them, or respond appropriately to any irregularities that occur. With the TÜV Süd-tested CO sensor GX-CO12 (Item No. 300712), all these monitoring processes and regular self-tests take place unnoticed in the background. The GX-C300 displays some of this data on a 2 x 16-character display, counts alarms, restarts, and errors, and stores and shows maximum values. However, the special feature of the GX-C300 is its second relay, which only activates in case of faults, for example, to inform building management systems or home automation about an error. The piezo sounder emits a short beep every 30 seconds, and the yellow LED blinks. There are temporary disturbances that the system resolves itself or simply ignores, further errors that can be fixed by a hardware restart, and others where technical support assists. By pressing the SERVICE button, you can navigate to the error page on the display, read the error number, and provide it to the technician who will work with you to find a solution. Are the standards too strict or too lenient for you? The alarm levels and delay times of EN 50291 are well suited for living spaces and rooms with residential-like use. The warning devices of the C300 series often do not operate in residential environments as intended, and you as a user may have entirely different ideas about meaningful warning levels.
