Product details
The universal gas warning device GX-A1+ can be connected to various sensors, but not the TÜV-certified CO sensor, as it communicates with warning devices in a different way. Therefore, we have designed the GX-A1+CO set, which allows for the installation of a professional carbon monoxide warning device with an external sensor, enabling the positioning of the warning device outside the monitored room and placing the sensor inside to see from the outside whether the room is safe to enter. The carbon monoxide concentration is evaluated and displayed with ppm accuracy. In case of an alarm, a potential-free relay is activated, and another relay is triggered in the event of technical malfunctions detected by the warning device itself, such as a cable break or sensor failure, to inform the building management system. The gas alarm GX-A1-CO is a combination of an external CO sensor and a control unit for carbon monoxide, warning at CO concentrations established in DIN EN 50291 (CO in living spaces). This monitoring system is therefore set to be very sensitive. This CO gas warning device may only be used in conjunction with the included CO sensor. An LCD display continuously informs you about the operating status. The alarm signal is both acoustic and visual, occurring at the control unit as well as at the sensor itself. At the same time, a potential-free relay is activated to, for example, lock the gas supply with a magnetic shut-off valve, preventing any further gas from escaping in the event of a leak in the gas line or gas boiler. Another relay is activated in case of technical malfunctions detected by the control unit itself. The device must not be used in explosion-prone areas. The control unit and sensor are coordinated with each other. Operate the two devices only together and exclusively in dry indoor environments with residential-like usage.
