The focus of the "Office" variant is on concentration and performance, meaning the mental fitness of employees. Accordingly, the traffic light only turns yellow at 1200 ppm CO2, red at 2000 ppm CO2, and starts blinking red with a subtle acoustic signal at 2500 ppm. The CO2 traffic light visually reminds users to ventilate properly. The light is green only when there is sufficient fresh air, which allows our human concentration and performance to be at their best and our immune system to be at its highest protection. When the air quality deteriorates, due to oxygen consumption and the exhalation of carbon dioxide, the light first turns yellow, and with further increases above 2000 ppm, it turns red. At this point, it is crucial to ventilate thoroughly. As CO2 concentration rises above 2500 ppm, the light will blink red and emit an alarm sound. An internal light sensor turns off the LEDs in darkness, thus automatically saving energy. The built-in NDIR infrared sensor for carbon dioxide is durable and maintenance-free, requiring only regular dusting. If this is done by gently blowing on it, the traffic light will immediately jump to red, effectively testing its functionality.
