This gas detector with an external CO sensor, which has undergone a full inspection according to DIN EN 50291 by TÜV Süd, is an essential safety device in almost every household. In the event of an alarm, the connected device is shut off, and both an acoustic and visual alert is triggered. The system activates immediately at a carbon monoxide concentration of 300 ppm. Lower concentrations will only trigger the alarm after a specific waiting period defined by the standard. This way, potential false alarms are reliably avoided, while you will still receive an alert if lower concentrations can lead to accumulation in the blood over time.
