The ASB 116 inrush current limiter is used in conjunction with alternating current electric motors and power tools. This electronic current limitation prevents the tripping of household circuit breakers due to high inrush currents. The ASB 116 is also suitable for capacitor motors, but it does not provide continuous current limitation. The ASB 116 is not suitable for operation with inverters, emergency power generators, power generators, etc. Please note that loads that do not start under no-load conditions, such as compressors, pressure washers, lifting platforms, submersible compressors, etc., cannot be operated with the connected ASB 116.
