Product details
This ultrasonic hardness testing device is ideal for mobile hardness tests where quick and precise results are highly valued. The SAUTER HO measures using a Vickers diamond tip that is pressed onto the test object with a defined force. Subsequently, the tip is subjected to high-frequency ultrasonic vibrations. The hardness is derived from the damping. The HO ultrasonic hardness testing system is primarily used for measuring small forged parts, cast parts, weld spots, stamped parts, casting tools, ball bearings, and the flanks of gears, as well as for measurements after heat or thermal influence.
