Product details

Magnetic contact detectors are essential devices for protecting perimeter areas. They are used to secure doors, windows, and other openings by triggering an alarm when these are opened. The K-3 detector is designed for flush mounting, meaning its components are installed by screwing their aluminum housings into appropriately prepared holes in the wooden or plastic frames of doors or windows. The K-3 consists of two waterproof parts: the reed switch (magnetic) sensor and the magnet, which should be in contact with each other. When one part is moved away from the other, the sensor circuit is interrupted, indicating a breach.

The K-3 is designed to work with any alarm control panel equipped with NC inputs and can also be used in automation systems as a control element.
