Product details
Application area:
Wood of all kinds: natural wood, artificial wood, plywood, wall paneling, etc.
Hollow grind with standard tooth configuration:
With a conically ground saw blade, the teeth are thicker than the back, making the use of a standard saw blade unnecessary. The main advantage of this design is the reduced friction during cutting and a precise cut "like planed." The tooth angle remains unchanged along the entire length of the saw blade. The saw blade is impulse-hardened and has a three times longer lifespan than a conventional, non-impulse-hardened saw blade.
Conically ground saw blade:
Computer-controlled grinding machines produce conically ground saw blades with a thicker tooth edge, making the type of tooth configuration less significant. It cuts like a knife. The hard chrome coating is rust and friction-free, leaving a cut surface "like planed." The teeth are sharpened with a honing stone, resulting in an extremely sharp cutting edge that is significantly sharper than conventionally sharpened teeth. It is as sharp as a quality knife.
Impulse-hardened teeth:
Permanently filed teeth are subjected to precision-controlled electronic impulses (impulse hardening) that heat and harden only the cutting edge of each individual cutting tooth. This ensures that the razor-sharp cutting edge remains sharp cut after cut. An impulse-hardened saw blade typically lasts three times longer than a conventional, non-impulse-hardened saw blade.
