The goniometer protractor is particularly suitable for joint measurement and for assessing inclination deviations.

The arm lengths of the goniometer protractors are 15, 20, or 30 cm. The protractor operates smoothly, making it easy to handle. In addition to its pleasantly light usage, it also provides adequate support, allowing for readings to be taken after removal from the patient. The large head encompasses a radius of 360 degrees, and due to its size, the values are very easy to read. The entire protractor is made from transparent, high-quality plastic material, which is very durable and ideal for use in rehabilitation facilities, practices, and medical institutions.

There are various versions of goniometers available. Some protractors have wide or narrow arms, and the arm length can also vary. Protractors with long arms (15, 20, or 30 cm) are used for measuring large joints. The specially designed short protractors are typically used for measuring hand and finger joints and are therefore referred to as finger goniometers. The measuring device fundamentally consists of a reference arm and a measuring arm. The reference arm is placed on the stationary body part, while the measuring arm is placed on the moving body part.

Measurements are conducted on large joints such as the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and foot. The measurement procedure can take place according to various methods.
