Threaded inserts for your 3D-printed parts. Ruthex threaded inserts can then be inserted into 3D-printed parts using heat or ultrasound. Using heat from a soldering iron or ultrasound, the press-fit nuts are simply embedded into a blind or through-hole. A secure hold with ease of use. Thanks to the geometry of the threaded sleeve, it holds firmly in the printed part. The opposing spiral-shaped knurled nuts ensure a balanced, high tightening and loosening torque as well as high clamping force. The guide has made insertion much easier. This means that each press-fit nut can be used for a long time and is easy to handle. The inserts are designed for all thermoplastics. The knurled nuts hold securely in PLA, PETG, ABS, PPS, PP and many more. Once the plastic of the part has cooled and hardened around the brass sleeve, the internal threaded sleeve is firmly anchored. A practical threaded insert set. The Ruthex RX-M6x6.8 threaded insert set consists of 25 press-fit nuts with an M6 internal thread and a length of 6.8 mm. The threaded sleeves can be inserted using ultrasonic or heat-setting methods.
