Product details

Cobalt-alloyed high-performance high-speed steel machine taps. The higher heat resistance leads to increased tool life. Suitable for through holes and blind holes in unalloyed and alloyed steels up to 1000 N/mm² strength and non-ferrous metals. The thread is cut in a single operation. Similar to HSS high-speed steel, with a 5% cobalt alloy. This heat-resistant material is used for machining materials with higher strength and for long cutting channels that experience significant heating. The 5% cobalt content provides higher heat resistance and load capacity. Illustration is schematic. Smaller diameters may be supplied with a tip due to production reasons.
