Product details
Cobalt-alloyed high-performance high-speed steel machine taps. The higher heat resistance results in a longer tool life. Suitable for through holes and blind holes in unalloyed and alloyed steels up to 1000 N/mm² strength and non-ferrous metals. The thread is cut in a single operation. Similar to HSS high-speed steel, with a cobalt alloy of 5%. This heat-resistant material is used for machining materials with higher strength and in long cutting channels with significant heating. The 5% cobalt content provides higher heat resistance and load capacity. The illustration is schematic. Smaller diameters may be delivered with a tip due to production reasons.
