3.2 x 49 x 11 mm extra short and stable standard drill bit, can be used on both sides. Ideally suited for assembly work in thin-walled materials. This extra short and sturdy standard drill bit is even shorter than DIN 1897, making it perfect for assembly work in thin-walled materials such as sheet metal, flat and profile iron. It features high breakage resistance and can be used in hand drills, double-sided.

Advantages of DIN 1412 C include good centering, low feed force, and improved chip transport due to chip distribution.

Applications include steel and cast steel, alloyed and unalloyed (up to approximately 900 N/mm² strength), grey cast iron, malleable cast iron, nodular cast iron, die cast iron, sintered iron, nickel silver, graphite, short-chipping aluminium alloys, bronze, and brass.
