Product details
The form tap is made of cobalt-alloyed, nitrided, and vapor-deposited high-strength high-speed steel. Applications include unalloyed and alloyed steels with a strength of up to 1000 N/mm², as well as non-ferrous metals. Since the forming occurs without cutting, there is no interruption of the fiber structure in the material. The deformation produces very rigid threads that ensure consistent accuracy even at high productivity.
