The round die is made of heavy-duty high-speed steel (HSS) suitable for unalloyed and low-alloyed steels with a strength of up to 800 N/mm². It also features a 5% cobalt alloyed heavy-duty high-speed steel (HSSE-Co 5) for unalloyed and alloyed steels with a strength of up to 1000 N/mm², as well as non-ferrous metals. The thread is cut in one operation.
