The round stamp is made of high-strength high-speed steel (HSS), suitable for unalloyed and low-alloy steels with a strength of up to 800 N/mm². It also features a 5% cobalt-alloyed high-strength high-speed steel (HSSE-Co 5) for unalloyed and alloyed steels with a strength of up to 1000 N/mm², as well as for non-ferrous metals. The thread is cut in a single operation.
