The HSS tap is designed for through threads in unalloyed and low-alloy steels with a strength of up to 800 N/mm². The HSSE-Co 5 tap is suitable for through threads in unalloyed and alloyed steels with a strength of up to 1000 N/mm², as well as for cast iron and non-ferrous metals. The thread can be cut in a single operation, either manually or mechanically.
