The RUKO core drills with Tecrona coating and carbide cutting edges are versatile for use with non-hardened steels and superalloys. The Tecrona coating is the ideal coating for all drilling applications that put extreme stress on the tool. It adheres very well to the tool, which increases the surface hardness to approximately 4200 HV due to the wear protection coating. The friction coefficient is extremely low with this coating, which enhances the tool life with minimal wear. They can be used in all pillar and magnetic base drilling machines with Morse taper in conjunction with RUKO holders or with Weldon shank direct clamping.
