The RUKO core drills with Tecrona coating and carbide cutting edges are universally applicable for non-hardened steels and superalloys. The Tecrona coating is the ideal coating for all drilling tasks that put extreme stress on the tool. It adheres very well to the tool, which increases the surface hardness to approximately 4200 HV due to the wear protection coating. The friction coefficient is extremely low with this coating, which enhances the tool life with minimal wear. They can be used in all pillar and magnetic stand drilling machines with Morse taper in conjunction with RUKO holders or with Weldon shank direct mounting.
