The RUKO core drills with Tecrona coating and carbide cutting edges are versatile for use with non-hardened steels and superalloys. The Tecrona coating is the ideal coating for all drilling operations that put extreme stress on the tool. It adheres very well to the tool, which increases the surface hardness to approximately 4200 HV due to the wear protection coating. The friction coefficient with this coating is extremely low, which enhances tool life with minimal wear. They can be used in all pillar and magnetic base drilling machines with Morse taper in conjunction with RUKO holders or Weldon shank direct mountings.
