Core drill made of high-performance high-speed steel with a titanium-aluminum-nitride coating. The TiAlN wear protection coating increases the surface hardness of the tool to approximately 3000 HV/microhardness and the hot hardness resistance up to 900 °C. It is characterized by high toughness as well as high thermal and chemical stability, contributing to longer tool life and improved cutting performance. The TiAlN coating makes it suitable for dry machining. Particularly suitable for machining unalloyed and alloyed steels (up to 1200 N/mm²), high-chromium steels such as V2A and V4A, as well as cast steel and tough brass. Compatible with all column and magnetic stand drilling machines with Morse taper in conjunction with RUKO holder No. 108 302 / 108 303, the RUKO EasyLock No. 108 312 / 108 313, or with Weldon shank direct holders such as the RUKO magnetic stand drilling machine A10.
