Chiseling cut. The chip flow through the hole prevents chips from jamming in the workpiece. Ideal for burr-free and chatter-free countersinking and deburring of steel, cast iron, non-ferrous, and light metals. Best results at low cutting speeds. Sinkers with a single cutting edge are not recommended for full sinking.
