Preformed heating mats are thin and lightweight, with low thermal mass, allowing them to heat up quickly and respond rapidly to temperature control. With a wide operating temperature range, flexibility, and excellent electrical properties, these mats offer a clear advantage over other heating methods. In applications requiring a heating mat for small diameter pipes, a more precise fit is achieved by using the preformed option. Although the design provides a precise fit, the use of self-vulcanizing tape is recommended for this product to provide a more permanent fastening method.
