PIR detector for surface mounting, IP65, programmable, with remote control. This series of miniature PIR presence sensors (passive infrared) offers automatic lighting control with optional intervention via an infrared remote control. It has been specifically designed for installation on a surface-mounted light fixture. Three models are available: Premium, direct dimming, and analog dimming, all suitable for switching incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps, compact fluorescent lamps, and LED lighting. The direct dimming variant controls digital DALI or DSI dimmable ballast, while the analog dimming variant controls 1–10 V dimmable ballasts. The device detects motion with a PIR sensor and subsequently switches the load on. If an area is no longer occupied, the load is turned off after a configurable time. The devices meet the IP65 protection rating as standard, making them suitable for outdoor use as well as for damp and wash areas. A selection of mounting discs is included to support installation on a variety of fixtures. All functions are fully programmable via an IR remote control. The PIR sensor detects motion and receives commands from an IR remote control. The light level sensor measures the light level. Protection class IP65. Housing material: flame-retardant ABS/PC.
