These electropermanent magnets hold when activated and release when deactivated. Typical applications include machine mechanisms, door/protection interlocks, and remote hold/release. Optimum performance is achieved when used with holding plates (sold separately). A version that releases when activated is also available. The 12V DC and 24V DC versions have a 2-pin connector and conform to IP20, while the 240V AC versions have a connector conforming to DIN 43650 and conform to IP54.
