The RB18 Vario with infinitely variable speed adjustment was developed by Rotwerk in Germany. In terms of safety, the RB18 Vario is the first bench drill with a power supply in the column and a cable winder in the machine base. The result is a powerful machine that marches effortlessly through large drill diameters in steel. But that's not all, the RB18 Vario is the first machine of its kind with a machine head made of die-cast aluminium. This made many innovations possible.
