Röhm Centre point CoAE for face driver, centre point-⌀ D: 16 mm
Product details
Face drivers are clamping tools used in mechanical manufacturing. They are designed to transfer torque from the machine spindle to the workpiece. With face drivers (also known as driver points), shafts are clamped between centers in machining machines. The complete outer contour of the workpiece can be finished in a single setup. By gripping over the workpiece centers, high roundness requirements can be achieved. The CoAE is a constant face driver that is manually clamped in a lathe. It is primarily used for cutting turning operations along the entire length. The components are clamped from the front side. Additionally, milling operations can be performed in the same setup. It excels with a constant clamping force, even with uneven face surfaces or larger deviations from orthogonality. The grip is radially play-free. Due to its modular design, different points and various driver discs can be used with a single face driver, allowing for the processing of a wide range of geometries. The CoAE replaces the Röhm face drivers CoA. It is suitable for manually clamped machining machines.
