    The quality is disappointing.

Not recommended. The clamping device for the saw blade broke after 3 times. Table not flat. Sawing result poor. The device is going back.

    Mediocre

For 369 CHF the price to quality ratio is really bad. It's almost 100% a Chinese OEM product, because I've seen identical ones sold under a different brand. I got mine for around 200 CHF from Aldi and for that price it's kind of ok. It's more of a toy / hobbyist product for occassional use than a real tool that can be used daily. If you're looking for a real tool that cuts straight, I think it's better to look for some used Makita or DeWalt for around 400 CHF. It's very difficult to set it so that it cuts straight beacuse of bad fit quality of the guide and the table not even being flat. Fixing those defects is really time consuming and challenging. On the plus, the blade not only cuts wood, but can also go through 1cm thick 6061 T4 aluminum plate, but it gets used up very fast. The weirdest thing about it is that it's not the teeth that loose sharpness - they simply get bent so that the kerf gets narrower and the saw can't cut anymore, even though the blade originally doens't get very hot which could mess with its heat treatment.

    Pro

    • Works (kind of)

    Contra

    • Really difficult to dial it in
    • Table is not flat
    • Guide never sits at the right angle (fit too loose)
    • The original blades wear really fast

    Makes a good impression

I have removed the link from the table, fitted the link and reattached the table to the link.
I inserted thin washers into the channel of the belt guide. Channel could be fixed.
    Settings :
    - Pressure screws for both door
    switches.
    - Upper wheel, inclination for hinge guide.
    - Rear and side hinge guides.
I don't see the adjustments to be made as a disadvantage. After all, it's about protection against injury.
I first made a test cut to measure from the stop. It was accurate. I cannot yet judge how the saw will behave in normal operation, but I am confident.
    Hence the missing 5th point!

    • Assembly and adjustment possible without manual.
    • Clean cut.

    • Price / performance - thumbs up!

    Contra

    • "Fiddling" when mounting the table.
    • Channel of belt guide was movable.

    Quality product

My first band saw so I do not have a reference. The saw seems to be solidly made and works well. The first project was to make a stand for it from 50x80 fir and some MDF, it really needs a base, I made mine so its table is exactly the same height as my table-saw. I have used it on 38mm beech and it cuts smoothly with the supplied blade. I have used it on a 120x120mm pine beam to slot the end for a T-plate to replace a patio railing stanchion. Feeding it slowly, the saw cut smoothly with the grain without bogging down or having to be backed out to clear debris.

updated after a few months -- this is really a decent home saw. smooth cutting in even in 40mm beech, very thick pine and fir stock. The table guide is stable and true and easy to set. I am glad I choose this product for the home shop
