    Define field of application

Using a fan heater on the lowest and most economical setting (450W), empties the ECOFLOW Delta Max 1600 storage tank in less than 2 hours.

    Pro

    • Quickly loaded

    Contra

    • Adapter plug necessary
    • with the adapter plugs further periphery unwieldy
    • 1612Wh storage does not keep its promise

I can only give an evective evaluation when the planned use (Campin 2023) occurs.

The EcoFlow will be installed in an Opus Air Camper with mains priority circuit. Therefore, I cannot say how the daily operation will be in self-sufficient mode. I expect daily operation with the 400 watt EcoFlow solar penne (if the sun is shining :-) ). Otherwise it makes a very good impression. I deduct one star for the fan, which unfortunately is not temperature-controlled.

    Pro

    • All cables are included
    • Everything controllable with app
    • Simple operation
    • Expandable with additional battery and power generator
    • Sturdy housing
    • Fortunately (TI network) only one 230V output is occupied.

    Contra

    • Loud fan during fast and slow loading
    • German connections (no reverse polarity protection TI mains)
    • Fan does not rotate after temperature increase but always full (loud) or not

Super power storage, also for small stand-alone systems

The seals on 3 of the 4 230V sockets are rather dubious, the reason behind it is not explained in detail except "according to Swiss regulations", I don't see a technical reason. No one has yet been able to answer me whether removing the seals affects the warranty.

    Pro

    • Super quality
    • Quite portable despite the size
    • Many connections and possibilities

    Contra

    • 3 of 4 socket connections dubiously blocked with seals
    • Fan sometimes a little loud when used indoors, even at low loads

    A scam

    Product:

For CHF 1'869.00, we send you an electric generator which, according to Galaxus, has been upgraded to Swiss standards, with 3 out of 4 electrical outlets sealed.

Moreover, the electrical plugs are European and
no adapters are supplied with the product.

Of course, the after-sales service considers that the product is compliant and not defective, so the return costs are to be paid by the customer (30 kg in total). It is also the customer who has to do the work of Galaxus by organizing the return by post.

    After sales service:
No manifestation from Galaxus once the return is registered on their website.

After a telephone contact request (11 days after registration of the return), an operator will call you for any questions you may have.

This operator, although courteous, fortunately, has no desire to sort out the mess. He sticks to his guns and insists that the product is in order and that the costs are at your expense. A great scam in my opinion.

I told the operator that I would gladly pay the return shipping costs to get a refund of the staggering sum of
CHF 1,869 for the generator and CHF 1,089 for the solar panel and that in future I would use another supplier.

I have also had problems with an ASUS computer (unrepairable according to the supplier) and a BenQ projector (sent 3 times for repair).

In conclusion, I give a mark of 1 out of 10 to the EcoFlow products as well as to the after sales service of Galaxus.

    Best regards.

    Eco Flow Delta Max 2000

We bought it because we work at home and need computers. We won't know if the device is any good until the power runs out due to incompetent policies. We assume that the device can be used. At the moment it is just standing around. Nevertheless, we are positive. We probably need several of them if we have to run freezers in the cellar and the kitchen, and at least 2 computers in the office upstairs. My wife's waterbed is then probably an ice pad and the heating doesn't work either. At least then you can charge your mobile phone to grumble. Maybe the government will provide every household with 2-3 such devices - instead of cohesion billions.

    Pro

    • you have something when there is no electricity, that without noise

    Contra

    • I can't say anything about it yet.
