Ecocut Windscreen wiper cutter
Ecocut Windscreen wiper cutter
Fortunately, I used the cutter on the right-hand windscreen wiper first.
I cleaned the wiper with plenty of washing-up liquid and made a cut at level 1
The handling is easy but the cut surface had a fine sawtooth shape.
Test with the windscreen washer: Disaster!
Level 2 didn't make it any better.
I drove to the DIY store (luckily it wasn't raining) and bought new wipers.
After replacing the windscreen wipers, I tested the cutter in the kitchen on the 2nd old wiper.
I washed it thoroughly, opened the cutter, removed rubber residue from the blade and tried again.
Result: Once again a completely rough cutting surface that is unusable.
=> 13.30CHF destroyed!

You have to use the windscreen wiper cutter carefully (preferably remove the windscreen wipers beforehand to guarantee the correct "threading" of the blade), but the result is flawless! And you can even use it twice, which extends the life of expensive windscreen wipers threefold. I'm very happy with it.
Pro
Was not sharp enough, had to buy new wipers as the old were so damaged by this tool that it was dangerous to drive.

To get the best result, moisten the wiping rubber well, preferably with windscreen cleaner, so that the cutter can be pulled through with a swift pull.
