The Manhole Entry Device (M.E.D. for short) or manhole entry system enables the user to enter or exit the manhole without having to interrupt the air supply. Normal ducts block a large part of the shaft and entry and exit is not possible without hindrance.
The system is easy to set up, no tools or similar are required. All components are made of a robust special plastic.
