According to our enquiry, our data is correct.
Due to different suppliers and delivery conditions, there may be price differences compared to other suppliers. We always try to set a price in line with the market, but this is not possible for all products.
Regarding the price development, the lowest available price of all suppliers who offer the product through us is always shown. Our own may differ from this.
I do not recommend a battery charger for testing 12V consumers. Instead, the use of a laboratory power supply is much more appropriate. Most devices are adjustable (typ. 0-30V / 0-3A) and are offered in the similar price segment as chargers.
And now the confusion is probably at its absolute peak. The pictures don't match. Here a 15A version, at the manufacturer a 10A version (like at Swissbatt24), but with a 2-pin plug. So, according to the manufacturer, there would be no need for an earth conductor? So the T12, like the Schuko plug, would be nonsensical or technically unnecessary.
But now we need more in-depth clarification, because otherwise there will be mis-selling. Please, Digitec, get to the bottom of this - it's cheaper than processing countless returns.
I obviously need to be more specific with my question.
According to the description here, the device is only for lithium batteries. However, the technical data agree with other suppliers as well as with the instructions for use, so that all common types would be chargeable (AGM .... etc.).
If this is true, the next question is. Why is the price blatantly higher than with other suppliers (e.g. Swissbat24 - the link to this: https://swissbatt24.ch/ladegeraet-batterie-zubehoer/batterieladegeraet/alle-ladegeraete-batterie-zubehoer-anzeigen/1793/victron-blue-smart-ip65-12v-5a-batterieladegeraet-mit-bluetooth?c=298
By the way, the price development is unclear, it is in the diagram at about 96 or so, as announced by Google in the price comparison.
And another link to a data sheet: https://swissbatt24.ch/media/pdf/f0/5f/64/Blue-Smart-IP65-Charger_2016_web_DE.pdf
Now I would be grateful for clear(r) answers.
What am I missing?
The device is offered here at a price of CHF 114. Google said that about 70 francs or so would be enough, based on the search query.
Then it says here that Swissbatt24 offers the device for CHF 106.
However, Swissbatt24 has a current price of CHF 76 on their website - which could then roughly correspond with Google.
In my opinion, the devices from both providers are identical. So something else went wrong somewhere, didn't it?
I would prefer to buy from Digitec - but not in the case of such a glaring price difference.
