tesa Insect screen magnetic curtain for balcony and patio doors, self-closing, mounting without drilling
Hello, I have just bought and fitted this one. The 80x200 is just right for me. Shortening it would certainly work, but it makes sense because of the magnets. The curtain is also superbly finished all round, which looks unattractive if you shorten it. Shortening then looks unattractive and can fray. I'm still looking for a curtain for 120x200 myself and can't find one because they're all getting longer, for whatever reason... Hope to have helped you? Best regards Urs
Unfortunately, we do not have the official adhesive tape as a spare part, but one of these articles may help you: https://www.galaxus.ch/de/search?q=klebeband+double-sided&is=adhesive-tape
Good morning In my case there was adhesive residue and I was able to remove this with an adhesive remover. Unfortunately, it cannot be removed without leaving any residue.
As the product cannot be cut, the dimensions stated on the back of the packaging must be adhered to fairly precisely. The dimensions are not actually about the pane but about the door frame, which must be at least 76 - 80 cm wide and 198 - 200 cm high.
It has to be clean. So I did. The ribbon will hold strong for almost two years now.
The Velcro tape is 25 mm wide
Velcro straps are mitgeliefert👍🏼
No, where the net is attached is glued and when you take it away you can't glue it back on.
We had tried it, but unfortunately it didn't work because it is difficult to shorten it.
You can take it off very easily because it is attached with velcro. You can't really remove the velcro strip, but I don't think it really bothers me :)
I installed them for the first time this year and yes, I also attached them through the bottom. I left a bit more of the net to close the slits at the bottom of the sheet so that no pellet or insect can get into the room.
Unfortunately, there is no magnetic curtain from Tesa that is 2.4 m high. Article "tesa insect screen COMFORT for windows, with Velcro tape, self-adhesive, no drilling (1.20 m, 2.40 m)" would fit, but is not for running through. Maybe a DIY fly door would be an idea?
If you have 5 cm space on each side of the door, it works.
The picture shows another version. Here the 90 cm / 2.10 M is offered. Thank you very much for pointing this out. We will gladly forward this internally to the responsible department and hope that this will be adjusted in a timely manner.
The underside is finished with a ribbon, but it could be folded over. It shouldn't be a problem.
