Since the compatibility is specified as FAT16/FAT32/NTFS and FAT32 is really old and THE standard for all kinds of devices, I would assume that at least 2TB are possible.

BT audio works flawlessly, and so does Spotify, via mobile (iPhone). Forward/backward/volume then works without problems via the JVC device. The titles are displayed on the screen. What is a 'Spotify function' supposed to be...?

Hello Snej56. No, you can't connect headphones. Why should you be able to? It's a car radio. And it's basically bad to drive with headphones. You can't hear what's going on around you. E.g. siren
