I have used the cover for a very long time (>12 months), even in cold temperatures (minus, but not the whole winter). It holds up well and has not shown any signs of ageing so far (cracks, loss of colour due to sun etc.). Previously I had a cheap product (~25.--) from Galaxus, which bleached after 3 months in the sun and broke at the first minus temperatures.

The material is silicone-coated polyester, which is also used for a camping tent, for example. The water beads off strongly and does not penetrate the fabric.
