Hello
I control it with google and not with Siri. But it works for me, the socket must then be renamed to coffee machine on the app. On the packaging and in the Hombli app it says that Siri can also be used. However, I would rather wait for an answer from an Apple user.

As far as I know, these are Tuya devices, so it should work with the new Tuya integration for Home Assistant (see also https://community.home-assistant.io/t/hombli-smart-switch-module-how-to-set-up-in-ha/694989 ).
An alternative would be the "IKEA Tretakt" sockets, which can be integrated into Home Assistant with zigbee2mqtt.
I can only answer half of the question that the Hombli Socket cannot be used to control the brightness of dimmable lamps.
Dimming not possible; only two states possible: On / Off
Yes, you can, but the Hombli app will then complain that the sockets that are switched off are not supplied with power and are therefore offline. If the power is then switched on, this warning will disappear again.
You need to be sure that the socket is in search mode (hold down the button for a few seconds => LED flashes) and then on the apli. Hombli choose search for new device.... Clearly, the phone must be on the wifi network and the socket must also be on the same functional network...
The place where the socket is located must be connected to your wifi.... the better the signal, the better.
Hi, I've tested it and it doesn't work. You can only connect to the socket using wifi. However, you can configure it by plugging it into the house and connecting it to the 2.4Ghz wifi. This network covers 1 large distance. You add third parties to the socket, then move it into your garden and the programmed timer will work even without wifi. Personally, even in the garden, I have access to wifi sockets. I don't know what you want to do with the socket so I can't tell you more. I hope I've been clear enough.
I bought 3 Hombli plugs and I'm very happy with the possibilities they offer.
Unfortunately they disconnect from my wifi every 2-3 days at random, and it's never the same socket. I don't have a local bridge.
Anyone else having the same problem? Any advice? It could be the strength of the wifi, but it should only affect the sockets furthest away from my router. I've read that they have built-in batteries, could it be that they run on battery power when in OFF mode?

Anyone else has the same issue? Any advice ? Could be the Wifi strength but then it should affect only the farthest from my router. I read they have built-in batteries, could it be that they run on battery when in OFF mode ? Could a bridge help?
Good morning
I have been using 6 adapters for about 1.5 years and have not noticed any problems so far. The automation also runs reliably. I therefore suspect that it could actually be related to the WLAN strength. The randomness would also speak in favour of this. Do you have an adapter right next to your router? The signal should be strong there, if the adapter is also disconnecting there I would take a closer look at the router. Does it have statistics on the quality of the connection, devices, etc.?
