In principle, this is not a special EFP or EFB charger. With this type of battery, the final charging voltage should not be higher than 14.6 volts. In order to be able to use this charger sensibly, it should be charged like a normal lead-gel or wet battery (simply not in AGM mode). In this way, a final charge or float voltage of 14.4 volts is achieved. This works perfectly in practice. I do it myself every winter with a seasonally used vehicle :-)

Apart from 5 (CH) vs 2 (EU) years warranty, I couldn't really find anything. It doesn't really matter, it's a 12V charger that can charge with 5A. It takes about 1 day to fully charge an empty battery on a car, trickle charge is great and a partially discharged battery is charged in a few hours. We have 3 CTEK MXS 5.0 and they have never had any problems.
Was delivered with Schuko plug and one-way CH adapter. I do not know how it was specified.
Good day Regarding the first question: Yes, that is so. I have both units and the alternator test is the difference. Otherwise, they both do an excellent job. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the second question. I used to have a separate booster, but I've never needed it since I got the Ctek (the battery there is probably gone now).

With AGM, the negative terminal (depending on the vehicle, it can also be the positive terminal) should be connected to the chassis and not directly to the battery. It is best to check the vehicle manual.

Why do you want to connect to the CAN bus? There is only voltage on it when the ignition is switched on, plus it is not suitable for charging the battery. No, a cable for this is not included. There is a cable for permanent installation and a cable with clamps. Both have the Ctek connector at the end (see picture 6).
