I have cut through an M20 stainless steel pipe with this cutting disc. But I didn't get all the way through, so I had to cut all the way around. The pipe only had a wall thickness of about 1-2mm.
I was able to cut through an M14 threaded rod without any problems.
Compared to a normal cutting disc, you need a bit more patience =)

In my opinion, there are no discs for grinding. I looked at BOSCH and there is nothing there either. So I think it's only meant for cutting. But I could be wrong. But if there should be something, it would have to be bought with it. I hope I was able to help you a little.
But I find the device simply ingenious, I can say with a clear conscience.

This is indeed the case and is not tragic in principle, or even the intention of Bosch. The Bosch 10.8/12V system has a very broad ecosystem (all devices, batteries, charging stations are compatible). I was also a bit perplexed when I only got the device, but the advantages are obvious:
You don't have a charging station for every device (I now have 5 devices and am happy not to have 5 charging stations). You can argue about the batteries, but there is everything from 1.5 - 4 mAh, so you can choose exactly the type of battery you want for the device. There are regular promotions and sets that come with 2 or even 3 batteries. Finally, there are cases where you just want the device because you already have enough batteries (well, basically you never have enough of them) and charging stations. This is one of the differences between professional and DIY tools. Considering that the L-Boxx 102 alone already costs about 60 francs, the angle grinder costs just 62 francs. :-)
