I bought extra dremel attachments for metal (because the bosch originals were not available in the DIY store) and had to shorten around 40 metal hooks (approx. 2mm diameter). I had a lot of wear on the attachments (10 pieces) and a lot of smoke. So it's ok for a few screws. if you mainly cut metal, I think I'd rather choose an oscillating device.
Yes, Dremel is also part of Bosch and the Dremel parts fit. This is what I use.
Dremel belongs to Bosch, the accessories are 100% interchangeable as far as I know & have tried.
