Questions about Abus PPIC42520

A great product at a very fair price. BUT a device with professional standards, therefore no WLAN, but LAN therefore no battery, but power connection. For me, as an office jerk, you need an electrician to install the four cameras at a reasonable height, to install the four cameras at a reasonable height and to lay the LAN and power cables. What I wonder is: what's the point of the teasing camera if there's no Wi-Fi?

Can the camera be operated offline, completely isolated from the outside world, i.e. only in its own LAN network? Or does the camera need internet access so that it can send video material to Abus?

Can anyone tell me how long the mains cable supplied is and whether there is an extension for it? It's about 6-7 metres from the camera to the nearest power socket. Thank you for your support.

Hello One question: Why does the Abus PPIC42520 surveillance camera cost CHF 163.- at Digitec/Galaxus, while the same camera costs CHF 234.- at Brack? Is this due to the scope of delivery? Am I misunderstanding something? Professional use??! POE doesn't work for me, camera has no web gui? I can't even connect this thing to Surveillance Station??? I have never experienced this before! I can only control the camera with an app from Abus (App2Cam Plus), nothing else.... Very sad!! I would love to return this thing. Otherwise, the picture is very clear and crisp, even at night.

Hello The following questions: - The camera is still available completely black. When will it be on sale? - The camera is to be connected to our home via WLAN. The nearest power socket is about 10m away. The cable to be ordered is only for indoor use. However, the main part of the cable has to be laid in empty conduits outside. Does anyone know how the motion detection works? The old models reacted to pixel changes. This triggers permanently. Infrared would be better.

Can this camera also be powered via POE? or does it necessarily need a power supply unit?
