The softshell jacket is the middle ground between a functional jacket and a rain jacket. With a 3-layer membrane, the jacket has a water column of 10,000 and is also windproof, resulting in a higher insulation value. It is a perfect jacket for colder temperatures. However, due to the vapor-permeable structure of the membrane, it provides much better breathability than a pure rain jacket. The structured functional material allows for perfect freedom of movement due to its high stretch properties. The moisture-activated inner side ensures high wearing comfort.
