The ceramic bonded replacement cutting disc for the Proxxon KG 50 cutting machine is made of 50 percent aluminum oxide and equal parts silicon carbide. It is suitable for cutting steel and non-ferrous metals, but can also be used for cutting smaller rods made of plastic or wood.
