The deep hole spiral drill DIN 1869 Type TS from Promat is a highly developed tool specifically designed for drilling extremely deep holes. With a diameter of 6.8 mm and an overall length of 290 mm, this drill offers an extended version that is ideal for applications under challenging conditions. The drill is made of HSS-Co, which provides excellent heat hardness resistance. The 130° point angle and the profiled cross grinding ensure precise and efficient drilling performance. This special drill is particularly suitable for machining high-strength steels, cast steel, gray cast iron, ductile iron, and spheroidal graphite iron. The cylindrical shank design allows for easy handling and compatibility with common drilling machines.
