The Promat countersink is a precise tool specifically designed for countersinking and deburring various types of metals. With a countersink angle of 90 degrees and a diameter of 2-5 mm, this HSS-Co drill insert allows for efficient processing of steel, cast iron, as well as non-ferrous and lightweight metals. The shearing cut ensures a burr-free and chatter-free surface, while the chip removal guided through the hole prevents chip jamming with the workpiece. Using it at low cutting speeds results in optimal outcomes and a long tool life. The cylindrical shank with a diameter of 6 mm allows for easy handling and compatibility with standard drills.
