Popp Intermediate plug for outdoor use IP44 Z-Wave Plus

The POPP Smart Outdoor Plug is a Z-Wave controlled plug for outdoor use. Thanks to its IP44 protection class, the plug is splash-proof and can be used on patios or balconies, for example. Additionally, the Smart Outdoor Plug measures the power consumption and current of connected devices and features surge protection. It is simply plugged in between the device and the socket and can switch loads of up to 3,500 W. The plug connects to the Smart Home Gateway via Z-Wave, allowing it to be controlled through an app, a remote control, or the local button. The switching status is indicated by a tri-color LED on the device, and the color selection can be freely configured. Furthermore, scenes in the Smart Home Gateway can be activated via the button, with single and double clicks being recognized and differentiated. Current energy measurements in W, kWh, and A are also transmitted via Z-Wave. With the Smart Outdoor Plug, you can conveniently control garden sprinklers or outdoor lighting via remote control, smartphone, or automation (for example, through sensors). When connected to the Smart Home Hub, you can also set schedules to turn connected devices on or off at specific times.
