Similar to the redox probe, the voltage is measured here, with the pH value being determined. The interplay between pH and redox is crucial, as the pH value plays a significant role in chlorine consumption. If the pH value is too high or too low, chlorine consumption will increase, and chlorine will also be released very inefficiently for disinfection in the water. The ideal pH value for automatic dosing is between 7.0 - 7.5 pH.
