The motion detector can be used to monitor hallways and open doors, to announce visitors or customers, and to supervise rooms. Whether in a house, store, office, or hotel room - the passage detector is ready for immediate use. Relevant movements are detected using a PIR sensor. A sensor with PIR technology responds to minimal local temperature changes, which it perceives as infrared light with a specific wavelength. This allows it to register people, vehicles, and animals entering the detection area while ignoring swirling leaves or moving branches. It also does not take into account fluctuations in general temperature, such as those caused by sunlight. In this way, the system avoids false triggers and ensures reliable detection of relevant objects.
