The PCE-HVAC-2 is a Pitot tube anemometer from PCE Instruments designed to measure differential pressure, air flow, air velocity, and temperature. Equipped with an angled Pitot tube, this anemometer is particularly suitable for the quick and precise determination of high air velocities of up to 80 m/s. Various units of measurement are available for flow velocity (m/s, knots, km/h, mph, ft/min).

Thanks to the 33.5-centimeter-long Pitot tube with a diameter of only eight millimeters attached to the anemometer, it can be used in confined workspaces, small openings, and piping systems. The manufacturer, PCE Instruments, has equipped the device with practical features that make it versatile. To allow for mounting on a tripod, the Pitot tube anemometer has a thread at the bottom. This combination gives the user greater flexibility in handling the Pitot tube with both hands free.

The two included pressure hoses, each 85 centimeters long, are attached to the top of the Pitot tube anemometer and can then be connected to the L-shaped Pitot tube. To ensure optimal readability of the measurement results even in unfavorable lighting conditions, the manufacturer has equipped the Pitot tube anemometer with a large, backlit LC display. The internal memory of the Pitot tube anemometer can store up to 99 measurement values per parameter, allowing the collected data to be saved and retrieved at any time.
